Cerec stands for "creating excellent restorations efficiently chairside."

What is Cerec?

Invented in Germany over 20 years ago by Siemens and now owned by Sirona, this is a process utilizing CAD/CAM technology to create the finest, gentlest filling restorations in the world.

The material is a metal-free ceramic made in a vacuum oven. The material is very dense with no porosities. It will outlast normal filling material by more than 2 to 4 times. It bonds to and increases the strength of the tooth!!

Besides the wonderful aspects listed above, this is done all in one visit in our office. No temporaries, no second visits-- we simply take away the bad part of the tooth and leave the rest of your tooth intact.
